Participation in the national finals of the “Seeds for the future 2024” program

In July, the final of the National Program "Seeds for the Future 2024" from Huawei was held in Kazakhstan. The program is designed for students of Huawei ICT academies interested in global innovations and digital technologies.

 

During the meeting

 

Students of two institutes of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Communications named after Gumarbek Daukeev) - automation and information technology and the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering Amanzhan Sabyrgali, Timur Yun and Ruslan Karavaev took part in the event. Certified trainers of the Huawei Energo University Academy, Professor of Practice Tatyana Viktorovna Golubeva and Senior Lecturer Viktor Aleksandrovich Taylakov, were engaged in training the students.

 

Participation in this program gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with trends in the information and communication field, as well as to better understand the features of 4G and 5G technologies, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

 

Based on the results of the national final selection, Amanzhan Sabyrgali and Timur Yun received the opportunity to continue their participation in the international stage of the program "Seeds for the future 2024".

 

- At our university, on the basis of one of the best in Kazakhstan ICT Academy Huawei, we have the opportunity to prepare students for high-level competitions, - noted Tatyana Golubeva, - which ultimately gives them broad opportunities in building a further career, including in an IT giant like Huawei.

Over the course of two days, participants presented their unique projects and demonstrated their knowledge in the field of robotics, new technologies and programming under the international FIRST program, and also competed in a drone race according to international MultiGP standards. The Energo Team, consisting of graduates of the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering of Energo University, headed by Vice-Rector for Science Kuanysh Alipbayev, became judges of one of the stages of the championship.
