AUPET Held a Meeting of the Board of Trustees
On July 22, 2026, Non-Profit Joint Stock Company "AUPET" held a regular meeting of its Board of Trustees, where key issues regarding the university's development were discussed.
Members of the Board were informed of the official state registration of the corporate foundation "AUPET Endowment Fund," established to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the university and support its various initiatives. Aidar Charlizovich Berkimbayev was elected President of the Fund. Mr. Berkimbayev is a 1993 graduate of the Almaty Power Engineering Institute specializing in Industrial Thermal Power Engineering, a member of the AUPET Board of Trustees, and Head of Power Infrastructure Development for Data Centers at QazCloud LLP.
Additionally, Abdulla Abdukhalikovich Rapiyev was elected Head of the AUPET Alumni Club. Mr. Rapiyev graduated from AUPET in 2008 with a degree in Mobile Telecommunication Systems and is currently the Founder and CEO of the Expert Diagnostics clinic network, as well as a member of the university's Board of Trustees. The Club’s activities will focus on enhancing collaboration between alumni and the university, fostering knowledge sharing, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the alumni community.
The decisions adopted at the meeting mark a significant step toward reinforcing the university’s partner ecosystem, developing the endowment framework and attracting donor funding, as well as building an active alumni community united by a shared goal: driving the continued growth and development of "AUPET"
