AUPET Cybersecurity Campus Officially Opens in Kaskelen
Today, the ceremonial opening of the new G. Daukeyev AUPET Cybersecurity Campus took place in Kaskelen, dedicated to training specialists in safeguarding Kazakhstan's digital infrastructure. AUPET Rector Gani Nygymetov and SDU Rector Arman Zhumazhanov addressed the audience during the ceremony.
The new building has already welcomed 4th-year students. They have been provided with advanced computer labs equipped with high-performance hardware, specialized software, and access to a cyber-polygon. Students can look forward to guest lectures from industry experts, a direct recruitment pipeline into top companies, a rich leisure program, and close academic collaboration with the neighboring SDU University.
The headline announcement was that the top 10 students of the campus will be sent to the country's premier technology events — the KazHackStan 2026 conference and the Digital Bridge forum.
The new campus is set to become a central hub for training talent in data protection, cybersecurity, and AI.
