Librarian`s Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan on October 24. Today we will introduce you to the Energo University library
It was founded in 1997 on the basis of the book collections of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I. Lenin and the Almaty Energy Institute.
To date, the library fund contains 300 thousand copies! The unique fund consists of educational, scientific and reference literature.
One third of the educational fund consists of the works and teaching materials of the university's teaching staff.
There is also fiction here - 10 thousand of the most popular publications in Kazakh and Russian languages.
For the convenience of searching and selecting literature, an Electronic Library is available on the university's website. And in order for students to have a choice in their studies, the library provides free access to the Electronic educational platform "Yurayt" and the Republican Interuniversity Electronic Library.
There is also access to the international bibliographic databases Scopus, Web of science and materials of the international publishing house Wiley.
At the Energo University library, you will be met by six librarians who are ready to help and answer all questions.
The reading room and subscription are open on weekdays without lunch in building A, room 236 from 8:00 to 17:00.
