At Energo University, there was a meeting of students with an alumnus and co-owner of Supros Engineering & Supply company
Students of the 3rd and 4th years from the Institute of Energy and Green Technologies at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications) met with the founder and Director of Strategic Business Development of Supros Engineering & Supply, an alumnus of our university, Sanat Aktananov. The event was organized by the Department of Thermal Power Engineering.
Supros Engineering & Supply specializes in engineering in the field of industrial insulation and cooperates with many international companies conducting their business in Kazakhstan.
The meeting was held in a format of open dialogue. Sanat Aktananov talked about his career path, shared life hacks, emphasized the significant role of the university in shaping the future individual, who is a responsible citizen acting for the benefit of themselves, their loved ones, and society.
"The importance and necessity of everything that the university provides are often realized only after graduation," shared Sanat Aktananov, "when you enter adult life and understand that the knowledge and discipline gained at the university truly help."
The speaker noted that based on his experience, a diploma from AUPET opens doors for graduates in many companies, gave many valuable pieces of advice to students, one of which is: during studies, one should immerse themselves in the process as much as possible, not to miss anything, as this will be useful in building a successful career in the future.
It was announced to those present at the meeting that within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Energo University and Supros Engineering & Supply, students would be able to undergo industrial training at the industrial thermal insulation production plant. Also, a Brand-ambassador representing the company's values will be selected among Energo University students. More details on this will be provided additionally.
