Results of the II stage of the Republican Student Research Competition in the educational program "Information Systems"ition on the educational program "Information Systems"

On May 19, 2026, the second stage of the annual Republican Student Research Competition (R&D) on the educational program "6B06102-Information Systems" was held on the basis of the Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after G.Daukeev. The competition is organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is aimed at developing students' research activities in the field of information systems, supporting innovative projects and increasing the scientific potential of young researchers. 59 scientific research papers submitted from 32 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were accepted for consideration by the competition committee. A total of 85 students and 51 academic supervisors took part in the competition. The presented works covered the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, information security, development of intelligent information systems, digitization of educational systems, web and mobile technologies, as well as data analysis and automation. The members of the competition committee evaluated scientific papers on relevance, scientific novelty, practical significance, validity of the research methodology and the quality of the results obtained. According to the evaluation results, the winners of the II stage of the republican competition were determined.
