The eighth Rector of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications” from 2023 to 2024. 

He is an oil and gas engineer with a Bachelor’s degree from the Kazakh National Technical University named after K. Satbayev. He also holds a Master’s degree from the Colorado School of Mines. Over the years, he served as a senior lecturer at Nazarbayev University and later at the Kazakh-British Technical University. He headed the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering at KazNTU named after K. Satbayev and held the position of Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas.
