The fifth rector of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications” from 2014 to 2016.

A Candidate of Engineering Sciences, he is the author of over 35 scientific works, 7 innovative patents, and 5 educational developments. He is a graduate of APEI. He began his career at the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications in 2002 as a junior researcher. He went on to serve as Deputy Dean of the “Faculty of Electrical Engineering,” assistant and senior lecturer in the department, and later as Head of the “Industrial Power Supplies” department.

Currently, he serves as the General Director of the Kazakh Research Institute of Energy named after Academician Sh. Ch. Chokin.
