The latter won the auction held in April on the platform of JSC “Kazakhstan Electricity and Capacity Market Operator.” Three other companies participated in the bidding process to select projects for the right to build a wind power plant for the Northern Zone of the EEC with a total capacity of 1 GW. Turan Wind Energy LLP offered 18.72 tenge per kWh (excluding VAT) and won the bid. In addition to the businessman himself, the company is co-owned by Sadu Ecopower LLP (Erlan Kozhasbay) and Universal International Engineering Holdings Pte. Ltd.
