Danat Zhumin is a visionary leader and change architect, entrepreneur, co-founder of Dala Edge Creative Tech Park, and the driving force behind launching the New York Film Academy campus in Kazakhstan. He serves as Independent Director and Chair of the Strategy Committee at Energo University, Chair of the Board of Baitursynov University, and Co-Chair of the Association for Sustainable Territorial Development “Q-88”.

Danat studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy, completed the OPM program at Harvard Business School, and explored exponential technologies at Singularity University.

He brings deep experience in managing personal and institutional transformation. He completed a full Ironman race, led the transformation of Shymkent from a regional center to a city of national significance, introduced project management at the Government of Kazakhstan, and played a key role in shaping the national policy for creative economy development.

Today, Danat Zhumin leads system-level projects at the intersection of education, culture, entrepreneurship, technology, and ESG, building infrastructure and ecosystems for the growth of the new economy in Kazakhstan and the broader region.
