ABB's first laboratory in Kazakhstan opened at Energo University
The first educational and practical laboratory in Kazakhstan from the Swedish Swiss company ABB, a global leader in electrification, industrial automation, and digital solutions, opened at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications.
ABB develops and implements technologies for energy systems, industry, transport, and infrastructure facilities, ensuring increased efficiency, reliability, and sustainable development. As part of the cooperation, the parties agreed to internships for AUPET students, engage ABB trainers to train faculty, and further employ university graduates.
AUPET Rector Gani Nygymetov thanked ABB for its significant contribution to the development of the university's educational infrastructure, noting that the opening of the country's first laboratory of this caliber creates new opportunities for practical training and professional growth for future engineers in the field of automation and control.
