AUPET held a Board of Trustees meeting: membership renewal, scholarships, and support for student startups
The Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev held a meeting of its Board of Trustees, during which important decisions were made aimed at strengthening partnerships and supporting students.
A new member joined the Board of Trustees: Batyrbek Bazarbaevich Musin, an alumnus of our university and advisor to the Chairman of the Board of JSC Pavlodar River Port. He expressed his readiness to actively support the development of the university's educational and innovative projects.
During the meeting, AUPET Rector Gani Nygymetov announced the creation of an endowment fund at the university, which will serve as a tool for long-term financial support for key development areas. The fund will support educational, scientific, innovative, and social initiatives, as well as the development of student startups.
A key highlight of the Board of Trustees meeting was the presentation of certificates for scholarships totaling over 6 million tenge to 14 university students. The scholarships are aimed at supporting talented young people and stimulating their academic growth.
