October 25 is a special day in the history of our country. It was the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted 35 years ago on this day - this was the first step towards independence.
A solemn event was held at the university with the participation of students and teachers.
Rector Gani Nygymetov, who expressed his warm greetings to the staff on the occasion of the Republic Day and the 50th anniversary of Energo University, presented anniversary medals to the staff.
The Vice-Rector for Science also presented awards from various ministries to the university staff.
