Today, Energo University hosted a meeting with a delegation from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), a leading research institute in China under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
CAICT is China's key innovation platform in the ICT sector, developing strategies, standards, and technologies in 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, big data, and blockchain.
During the meeting, Energo University Rector Gani Nygymetov introduced the university, discussing its key areas of focus—energy, engineering technology, digital development, and scientific research—as well as the university's international partnerships and innovative projects.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digitalization, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, big data, and academic exchanges.
The visit of CAICT representatives marked another step toward strengthening international ties and developing scientific and technological cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.
