As part of the republican project on the formation of basic knowledge in the field of cyber hygiene, digital and financial security, implemented by the Bank's Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Anti-Fraud Center of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and second-level banks, a guest lecture for students was held at AUPET.
The event was aimed at increasing the digital literacy of youth and reducing vulnerability to fraudulent and illegal activities in the digital environment.
Representatives of ALATAU City Bank and employees of Cyber Police of Almaty acted as speakers.
Key issues related to safe financial behavior and protection from digital threats were considered during the lecture. Special attention was paid to criminal liability for participation in illegal financial transactions, including the widespread practice of using "droppers" - persons who provide their bank accounts for cashing and transferring funds obtained through criminal means.
The expert covered the following topics in detail:
• basic schemes of fraud and methods of their recognition;
• legal consequences of participation in illegal actions;
• the principle of financial and digital security;
• recommendations for the formation of responsible behavior in the digital space.
Employment issues in the field of information and financial security were also discussed. Representatives of organizations noted the high demand for specialists in these fields and emphasized the importance of early professional orientation of students.
The lecture aroused active interest: students asked questions, shared their own experience and received valuable practical advice.
The event took place in a lively and constructive atmosphere, which contributes to the development of the culture of responsible behavior in the digital world among young people.
