On August 29, a round table on the topic “Effective Parliament - Constitutional Rights of Citizens” was held at the AUPET library. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Professor of the Satpayev Kazakh National Technical Research University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Dosaly Salkynbek Isakhanuly and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences Khankeldy Makhmuduly Abzhanov were specially invited to the event.
The faculty and students of the AUPET also actively participated in the round table. During the meeting, the changes introduced into the Constitution of our country and their impact on the development of society and the features of state power structures were widely discussed.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the role of Parliament in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, and the participants shared their views.
