New structure of institutes
Now, AUPET includes the following institutes:
* Institute of Energy and Green Technologies
* Institute of Telecommunications and Automation
* Institute of Information Technology
Key changes
* The Department of Automation and Control has joined the Institute of Telecommunications and Automation to unify engineering and technological fields.
* The Departments of Space Engineering and Electronic Engineering have been merged into a single Department of Aerospace and Electronic Engineering.
* The Department of Power Supply, Electric Drive, and Electrical Engineering has been merged with the Department of Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources → creating the Department of Electric Power Engineering.
* The existing Department of Electrical Power Engineering has been renamed to the Department of Electric Power Systems, with a focus on training specialists for high-voltage power engineering.
