Energo University hosted the Almaty Powerlifting Championship, with around 200 athletes taking part. The event was held as part of the university's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Notably, after an intense competition in the bench press discipline, four students from our university secured top positions.
1st place – Nuraly Zhansay (Group SIBk-22-8a)
2nd place – Dmitry Druzin (Group AU-22-7a)
3rd place – Almir Akhmetov (Group VT-24-2a)
4th place – Pavel Senchilov (Group VT-24-2a)
The students who secured 1st and 2nd place earned the opportunity to compete in the Kazakhstan Championship, which will take place in May this year.
