As part of his visit to the North Kazakhstan region, the rector of Energo University, Gani Nygymetov, is holding a series of meetings in Petropavlovsk with heads of organizations in the housing and communal services and energy sectors, as well as career guidance meetings with schoolchildren.
The purpose of the meetings: first, to draw attention to the energy industry, to the issue of personnel training for this field, as well as, in general, to the need to develop engineering education in the country.
Gani Nygymetov:
- Today, Energo University is one of the leading technical and the only specialized energy university in Kazakhstan. And today, on its 50th anniversary, our university is experiencing a new development. We are changing a lot externally: over the past 9 months, a major upgrade of the infrastructure has been carried out, thanks to which the university campus has become a comfortable student environment. And this work will continue. We are also changing in terms of educational programs, adapting them to meet the demands of the time, using artificial intelligence, principles of interdisciplinarity, and developing interaction with businesses and companies operating in real sectors of the economy so that our students can immediately apply their knowledge in practice. All this makes our university attractive to applicants. And we will be very glad to see residents of North Kazakhstan region among our students.
