During the meeting of the Presidium of the National Engineering Academy of Kazakhstan, chaired by the President of the Academy, academician Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov, diplomas were awarded to new corresponding members of the Academy, among whom are representatives of Energo University. The honored recipients were Rector Gani Nygymetov and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Electric Power Engineering Anur Bektimirov.
As members of the National Academy of Engineering, they will now participate in addressing number of important tasks. One of the key priorities, in line with the directive of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is the development of a national model for training engineering and technical personnel, considering international standards and best practices.
