The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings rating agency has published the results of the UI GreenMetric-2024 international university ranking. Energo University has entered the top 5 Kazakhstani universities most committed to sustainable development goals.
In 2024, our university participated in the UI GreenMetric world ranking, which identifies the most sustainable development-oriented universities on the planet. According to the results of the international Rating Agency UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, Energo University ranked 517th out of 1,477 universities in the world. Among the 28 Kazakhstani higher education institutions participating in the ranking, Energo University was awarded the 5th place.
When assessing the university's commitment to sustainable development goals, experts took into account such parameters as the use of renewable energy sources by the campus, saving water resources, the availability of green spaces and an environmentally friendly waste management program, active educational and research activities in the field of sustainable development.
In 2025, Energo University plans to continue participating in this ranking and improve its performance.
