Diana Khanchi, a student of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies at Energo University, is included in the national team of Kazakhstan to participate in the Asian Orienteering Championship, which will be held in Chiang Mai (Thailand).
Diana Khanchi received the right to perform at prestigious competitions due to her successful performances during 2024 at a series of republican starts, including the National Championship and the Cup of Kazakhstan. So, at the recent Kazakhstan Urban Orienteering Championship, an Energo University student won three medals at once.
At the upcoming Asian Championships in Chiang Mai city from December 20 to 26, Diana will make her debut in the Junior age category (under 20 years old).
At Energo University, Diana is a 3rd-year student majoring in Automation and Control, has high academic performance, and is the head of her group. It is worth noting that earlier, in 2022, her older brother, Ali Khanchi, graduated from Energo University, also with a degree in Automation and Control.
We wish Diana a successful performance at her first Asian Championship!
