At the Energo University site, with the participation of the Institute of Energy and Green Technologies, a meeting was held between Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhomart Aliyev and the population of Almaty.
During the meeting, the Vice Minister presented current programs and projects aimed at preserving ecosystems, improving air, water and soil quality, as well as increasing resilience to climate change. The citizens had the opportunity to ask questions, offer their ideas and discuss ways to solve environmental problems.
Zhomart Aliyev stressed the importance of interaction between the government and the population for the effective solution of environmental problems and noted that such meetings will be held regularly. He also called on residents to actively participate in environmental initiatives such as clean-up, tree planting and garbage collection programs.
Following the meeting, a list of proposals was compiled that will be taken into account in the further work of the Ministry.
