The delegation of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev), headed by Rector Gani Nygymetov, is taking part in the 7th Energy Conference of Universities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is taking place in Beijing at the site of the North China Electric Power University, a specialized university in China engaged in training personnel for various fields of energy.
Within the framework of the conference, Maxim Korobkov, PhD, Head of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering at Energo University, presented his report on the topic "The energy sector of Kazakhstan in conditions of carbon neutrality". The delegation of our university also visited the Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science Park, where the largest R&D centers of the world's leading technology corporations are located.
In addition, Kazhybek Tergemes, Head of the Department of Electricity Supply and Renewable Energy Sources, Ernar Amitov, Head of the Department of Electric Power Engineering, and Professor Yertugan Umbetkulov visited Tianjin Vocational Institute (Tianjin University), one of the TOP 20 Chinese universities, to study best practices in the field of higher technical education.
