Charge d'affaires of the German Embassy in Kazakhstan Ullrich Kinne visited Energo University and the Anhalt International University in Kazakhstan branch of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences opened on its site to discuss German Kazakh cooperation in the development of higher engineering education.
The meeting was attended by Eduard Siemens, Director of the branch of Anhalt International University in Kazakhstan, Aybek Zhupankhan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Energo University, directors of institutes and the Department of International Cooperation.
The Charge d'affaires of the German Embassy was presented with the results of the joint work of the two universities to create all the necessary conditions for starting studies in Almaty according to German programs.
Recall that the branch of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences at Energo University "Anhalt International University in Kazakhstan" was opened in September this year. Preparatory work is currently underway here for the admission of applicants for the next academic year, including the necessary internships for the teaching staff and building up the educational and laboratory base. Training in the fields of energy, engineering, information technology and automation will be conducted in English together with German and Kazakh teachers. Graduates will be able to receive two full–fledged diplomas at once - Kazakh and European, which will allow them to increase their global competitiveness.
