On December 3 and 4, the national seminar "Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity of the Fuel and Energy Complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held in Astana. Energo University was represented by the work of scientists from the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies.
The forum was organized by the Situational-Analytical Center of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Energy and the participation of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
The project by Energo University scientists titled "Scientific Support of Sustainable Development Goals of the Fuel and Energy Complex Based on Digitalization" was carried out under the leadership of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Research Professor of the "Automation and Control" Department, and Head of the Research Laboratory "Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart Technologies", Irbulat Utepbergenov. The project was presented at the seminar within the section "Changing Technological Approaches to Diagnostics and Data Protection for Ensuring Reliability" by Associate Research Professor of the "Automation and Control" Department, Shara Toybayeva.
The work of scientists from the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies received high praise and sparked practical interest among representatives of major Kazakhstani companies whose activities are connected with the fuel and energy complex.
