EU Students Participated in the Regional Final of Huawei's International Competition

Three students from Energo University represented Kazakhstan in the ICT Competition Regional Final, which brought together students from 13 countries across the Middle East and Central Asia. They earned their spot in the competition by winning the national finals of the ICT Competition 2024-2025, organized by Huawei.

Among the winners were students majoring in "Information Technology Systems" from the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, Amanzhan Sabyrgali and Zakir Daulbayev (Department of Cybersecurity), as well as a student majoring in "Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications" from the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering, Damir Abduganiev (Department of Telecommunication Engineering).

The students are successfully studying at one of the country’s best Huawei Academies, established at our university in 2019. They are trained by experienced certified instructors Viktor Taylakov and Tatyana Golubeva.

The results of the ICT Competition Regional Final will be announced in the second half of December. Winners will have the opportunity to compete in the global finals of the competition, which will be held in China.

ICT Competition is an annual competition organized by Huawei to support talented youth in the ICT field. The competition spans dozens of countries. Participation by Energo University students in international-level competitions helps strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the global ICT arena.
