Independent work of students with a teacher, associate professor Meirimkul Mukhamediyarovna Tuleup, took place at the Department of Languages at Energo University in an unusual format. The freshmen discussed the topic "Globalization: advantages and disadvantages" in a debate format.
During the lesson, students not only searched for answers to questions about the pros and cons of globalization, but also developed important flexible skills: the ability to build arguments, listen and understand opponents, constructively express their point of view and avoid logical mistakes.
And the participants decided to continue the exchange of views, but in an informal friendly atmosphere, in a new format – over a cup of tea in their favorite student cafeteria Laptop together with a teacher. The freshmen liked this format of the meeting very much.
"It turned out to be not only useful, but also interesting," the students noted. "We had the opportunity to discuss important issues in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know each other better."
The Department of Languages notes that they will continue to offer students interesting communication formats that allow them not only to learn new topics more easily, but also to establish trusting relationships with each other and teachers.
