Energo University students participate in the International Astronautical Congress
The delegation of Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications) is participating in the 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2024), which is being held this year in Milan, Italy.
Last year, Energo University students were also honored to participate in the Congress held in Baku, Azerbaijan, for their achievements.
Energo University is represented by Vice-Rector for Science Kuanysh Alipbaev and three female students who have shown significant achievements in science: Amina Mukasheva a 1st-year master’s student in "Space Engineering," Enlik Mellatova a 4th-year undergraduate student in the "Space Technology and Systems" program and Maria Fedotova a 2nd-year undergraduate student in the "Systems Engineering" program. The students are engaged in research, participate in professional rocketry competitions, and actively contribute to the university's scientific club, SEDS ENERGO.
The International Astronautical Congress is organized by the IAF, the world’s leading space protection organization with over 8,000 members in 77 countries, and is hosted by the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (A.I.D.A.A.). The event covers all space sectors and topics, offering participants the latest space-related information and scientific and industrial achievements, as well as opportunities for potential partnerships. Participation in this event is based on an invitation from the IAC 2024 organizers.
