Today, women confidently take their place in the engineering profession, breaking down gender stereotypes! This is proven by Energo University’s student Balshyrin Serikova. She is a 4th-year student at the Institute of Communication and Space Engineering, studying in the “Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications” program. Balshyrin successfully completed her internship at Kazakhmys Corporation and shared her impressions:
— It was a very interesting and valuable experience. I learned to solve tasks of various levels, visited mines and worked in the field. I was able to apply the knowledge I gained at the university in practice. I understood the essence and specifics of my specialty. And I fell even more in love with my profession! Telecommunications is a highly demanded and relevant profession that is indispensable in modern life. I want to continue developing in this field and build a career. To all the women who, like me, dream of working in telecommunications engineering, I can confidently say: we may all face challenges, but thanks to the opportunities and support provided by the company and advanced technology, this profession is an excellent choice for women!
