Energo University futsal team continues to delight its fans with high achievements. Recently, the athletes returned from Astana with a silver cup, where they took part in the final games of the Republican Student Sports League. 140 student teams from all over Kazakhstan competed for the opportunity to compete in the finals with the strongest clubs.
16 teams took part in the final competitions. Our guys didn't have enough time to win – they lost only on penalties to the team of the L.N. Gumilev ENU. At the same time, Nikolay Bocharnikov, the head of the Energo University team, was recognized as the best coach of the tournament, and our player Almas Imanbekov was recognized as the best defender. Today, the rector of Energo University Gani Nygymetov personally congratulated the athletes and the coach on the well-deserved "silver".
He thanked the team for their high achievements and assured that the university would continue to actively support this sport, as well as other student clubs that glorify the name of Energo University with their victories. It is noteworthy that the cup of the silver medalist of such a prestigious competition has already become the sixth award of the Energo University futsal team this year. Keep it up !
