On January 28, with the support of the university administration, activists of the AUES students’ trade union committee held one of the annual traditional events in the house-museum of the great Kazakh writer Akhmet Baitursynov.
A special concert program was prepared for this meeting. It consisted of folk songs, Kazakh bewitching kuyevs on the dombra and famous works of the writer himself.
At the event as guests of honor Baysalov Ayman Kabidenkyzy – nephew of Akhmet Baitursynov, Қaydar Baydebekuly – the fellow countryman of the event, from the administration of our university, the head of the Department of Social Disciplines – Kabdushev Bolat Zholamanovich and the Head of the department of educational work – Nurzhan Ali were invited.
The main purpose of the event was to introduce to the history, culture and art of Kazakhstan through acquaintance with the country’s museums, expanding the horizons of students.
First of all, this event, dedicated to the memory of Akhmet Baitursynov, is a revival of public consciousness, encouragement of the patriotic spirit of our students, and an increase the interest in reading the papers of our ancestors.
