Rector Saule Sagintayeva took part in a meeting on the development of educational programs based on new professional standards

On February 20, at the place of the Project Office of JSC “the Center for the Development of Labor Resources” in Nur-Sultan, Rector Saule Sagintayeva took part in a meeting on the development of educational programs based on new professional standards. Following the meeting, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askhat Aymagambetov, and the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Birzhan Nurymbetov, signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation on the implementation of the National Qualifications System. Vice-ministers of the departments, President of the Center for the Development of Human Resources Tamara Duysenova, representatives of the Project Office and experts of the Center for the Development of Human Resources, as well as rectors and vice-rectors of the capital's universities and college directors took part in the event.

At the beginning of the event, Birzhan Nurymbetov informed about the large-scale work to develop 480 professional standards for the priority areas of our economy in the Project Office created in 2019 on the basis of the Human Resources Development Center. The next task is the adaptation of the education system to the requirements of employers jointly with the Ministry of Education and the implementation of clear algorithms for the development of educational programs based on professional standards.

Rector of the non-profit joint-stock company “AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev” Saule Sagintayeva presented for discussion the report “Algorithm for updating and developing educational end-to-end programs based on one professional standard“ Technical support of electronics ”. During the report, she shared her experience in developing educational programs based on professional standards and competencies that specialists who have been trained in the new educational programs will meet. She also noted that in order to achieve a high result in the training of demanding personnel focused on changing the needs of the real labor market, it is necessary in the field of education, together with the labor market, to solve issues of continuing professional development of the faculty, modernization of the laboratory base of universities, the formation of a base and the creation of a pool of high-class experts to analyze educational programs. The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askhat Aymagambetov, praised the work of the non-profit joint-stock company AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev in the direction of developing educational programs based on professional standards and noted that it was conducted at a high professional level.

Within the framework of the signed document, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Education and Science will coordinate the joint formation of a list of educational programs and standard curricula and programs based on approved professional standards, determine the basic universities that will be involved in the development of educational programs, and conduct training in methodology for the development of educational programs.
