On the 4th of March, 2020 the next meeting of the Board of Trustees of AUPET was held. Many important topics were put on the agenda. One of them was the approval of scholarships for the second semester. Based on the results of the review, two certificates for scholarships were awarded: from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the non-profit joint-stock company AUPET Daukey Serikbek Zhusupbekovich, as well as from the head of monitoring and analysis of the State Energy Supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aitzhanov Baurzhan Kurmangalievich (2002-2010). and executive secretary of the Board of Trustees of AUPET Alumni (2009-2017) Imentaeva Dana Kurmangalievna jointly. The first scholarship in the amount of 147,000 tenge was awarded to student Kaliyev Adil, and the second 105,000 tenge was awarded to student Nurkuat Bekslan.
Further, the Board of Trustees entered into a practical training agreement with a new member of the joint venture - Director General of Almatyteplokommunenergo LLP Berdkimbaev Aidar Charles.
A lot of attention at the Council was paid to the new educational programs of the university, which entered into force in 2019. As you know, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the Institute of Electric Power and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) began to train specialists in engineering and agroengineering in four new educational programs. In the future, two more programs are planned to be opened taking into account the demand for the market, but already in the electrical and energy specialties. Justification for their discovery is more than enough. The main thing is that AUPET will train specialists in accordance with the new challenges of the time.
