On April 18, 2020, as part of the Science Week at AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev, the web-conference “EXPERIENCE OF IT APPLICATION IN SCIENCE, BUSINESS AND EDUCATION”, organized by the IT Engineering Department of the Institute of Management Systems and Information Technologies, was held.
The speakers were Lakhno Valery Anatolyevich - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Kozbakova Ainur Koldasovna - PhD, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Lakhno Valery Anatolyevich shared his experience in developing projects related to the problems of cybersecurity and the recognition of anomalies, threats and cyber-attacks, as well as investing in information protection and cybersecurity. To increase the effectiveness and efficiency of evaluating such large projects, various computerized decision support systems (DSS) are used.
Kozbakova Ainur Koldasovna presented the results of work on the development of mathematical and computer models, software and hardware tools and experimental work on the creation of a network of combined effective dual-circuit solar collectors with thermosiphon circulation to supply buildings with energy and heat, as well as ways to monitor their functioning. Such controlled autonomous heat supply systems provide an alternative to traditional energy sources.

As part of the research conducted by the faculty of the department together with students in the thematic research laboratory “Engineering of Information Technologies and Systems” the project of a 4th year student San Sofia (supervised by Ph.D. Akhmetov BS, PhD Alimseitova JK) was introduced.
The guests of the conference were professors and teachers of AUPET, the universities of Turan, Narxoz, etc.
