Our university is 45 years old! You and I are witnesses to a grand event whose glorious history began in 1975. Today AUPET is among the top 3 universities and in the TOP - 10 of the most popular universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the initiative of the Department of Language Studies, a remote round table on the topic: "The history of the formation and development of AUPET named after G. Daukeeva took place. 1st year students took an active part in the event. Associate Professor of the Department of Language Studies Nurmakhanova M.K. became his moderator. The round table was held in the online conference mode.
Students actively participated in the discussion of the proposed topic. During the speeches, they talked about the history of the university and the role that it played in the development of Kazakhstan. Students noted that in the history of the country AUPET has forever remained the first and so far the only source of qualified personnel in the region in the field of energy, communications and telecommunications. AUPET can be proud of its glorious history, wonderful traditions and excellent teachers who have dedicated their lives to teaching students. Our veterans also deserve respect and many words of gratitude - those who were involved in the history of the university and at the same time today are its integral part and pride.
Head of the department of educational work Abdullina Z.A. took part in the round table. She noted how important it is for students to know and remember the people who stood at the origins of the formation of their own university and that the round table is the first sign in holding anniversary events dedicated to the university. Head of the Department of Social Disciplines Kabdushev B.Zh. said that in the near future a jubilee gift album is being prepared, which will reflect unknown pages of the history of the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev.
Teachers and students suggested that such round tables and seminars on interesting events of the university be held as often as possible.
Today AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev under the leadership of the rector Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna is a university recognized by the state and society, the academic and professional community. He is known in the country and abroad. Our graduates work in all regions of the country. They successfully carry out their professional activities not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the countries of near and far abroad. They worthily continue the established traditions. The university is open for innovations in science and education, for the application of new technologies, the implementation of progressive ideas.
