В АУЭС подвели итоги республиканской Олимпиады по специальности «Автоматизация и Управление»

At AUES, the results of the Republican Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control" were summed up

The Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control" using modern IT tools was held. It has become a vivid demonstration of the capabilities of advanced digital technology. The Olympiad was held on the basis of the Department of Automation and Control of the Institute of Control Systems and Information Technologies of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev.

The Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control" has become in Kazakhstan one of the first experiences in conducting such events remotely. Teams from 13 universities of the country took part in the Olympiad. This is a record number of participants in recent years of subject Olympiads in the specialty "Automation and Control". 

 Students from eight cities and regions of Kazakhstan: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Karaganda, Atyrau, Pavlodar, Taraz, Turkestan and Uralsk demonstrated their knowledge, skills.

The Olympics was held in two stages. According to the results of the first, written stage, 10 people who scored the most points were identified. An interview was conducted with them, during which the participants explained their progress in solving competitive problems.

Following the results of two stages in the individual competition, the winners and prize-winners of the Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control" became:

1st place - Elmira Khasenova (Kazakh National Research University named after K. Satpayev);

2nd place - Adlet Shaimukhamedov (Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov);

2nd place - Mahabbat Salavatkyzy (Kazakh National Research University named after K. Satpayev);

3rd place - Basytbek Kuanyshbaev (Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov);

3rd place - Alexander Shteyvand (Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov);

3rd place - Vladimir Shishuk (Karaganda State Industrial University).

It should be noted that representatives of the organizing university - Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications - participated out of competition.

“All the participants who completed the second round successfully demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental subjects of our specialty,” said Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Igor Fedorenko, head of the Department of Automation and Control at AUES named after G. Daukeev. - Not only prize-winners flashed their knowledge, but also, for example, representatives of the Taraz State University named after Dulati, as well as other regional universities of Kazakhstan. All of them possess the necessary knowledge in order to become qualified specialists in the field of automation and control, without which it is impossible to solve the big tasks of digitalizing the economy of our country.

In the team event, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place - Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov;

2nd place - Kazakh National Research University named after K. Satpayev;

2nd place - Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov;

3rd place - Taraz State University named after Dulati;

3rd place - Karaganda State Industrial University;

3rd place - Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebaev.
