Members of the primary party organization “Parasat” of the AUPET of the Bostandyk district branch of the “Nur Otan” party and representatives of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications congratulated the daughter of World War II veteran Kulakova Amirbek Abdenova Bana Amirbekovna on the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
For 75 years we have been living under a peaceful sky, building cities, growing crops, raising children. Decades have been passing, generations are replaced, but the memory of the Great Victory of our people remains in our hearts. With deep respect, we bow our heads to those who fought on the battlefields of this same bloody of wars, who worked in the rear and forged the weapons of Victory.
Amirbek Abdenov heroically died near Leningrad, defending Sinyavinsky heights. In the area of these heights in 1941-1944 fierce battles during the battle of Leningrad were fought. It would seem that a small hill, a maximum of 50 m above sea level, in the South Ladoga south of the modern village of Sinyavino. But it was there that the stronghold of the defense of the German troops was located. Possession of heights made it possible to control the vast territory of the Shlisselburg-Sinyavinsky ledge from Lake Ladoga in the north to the Mga River in the south. This point was the best place to break the blockade, since the distance between the Leningrad and Volkhov fronts in the area of the ledge was minimal.
On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, Ban Amirbekovna was awarded the jubilee medal "75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." Representatives of the university staff conveyed to the daughter of Amirbek Abdenov, on behalf of the rector of the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev, Professor Saule Savetovna Sagintayeva, congratulations on Victory Day and health wishes. The party cell, employees and the trade union committee of the university also handed over the food package to the relatives of the WWII participant.

May 9 is the main, holy date in the life of each of us. This is a day of immense joy and pride of our people for the feat of the glorious generation of real heroes who, without sparing life, defended their Fatherland and freed Europe from fascism. We will forever keep in our hearts the memory of their courage, fidelity to duty and love for their homeland.
