AUPET SPRING AWARDS 2020
AUPET Spring Awards is a traditional spring competition for students of our university, where talented children share their work with the audience in various nominations.
This year, in connection with quarantine, this event was held remotely online. Acceptance of applications for the competition and their registration took place from April 18 to April 24. There were 59 people willing to take part in this competition. The nominations were distributed as follows: 11 each in the nominations “Best Video”, “Photoproject”, “Cover”, “Tik-Tok” and 15 in the nomination “Reading a poem”.
From April 24 to April 30, the work of the participants was accepted. After checking all the works, we chose the ones that went to the finals. It was these works that were published in early May on the @aues_life account on Instagram. From this moment the most interesting began: voting on the net! After all, the final rating consisted of the jury's estimates and the likes collected in the network according to the principle of 50% + 50%. For almost a week, university students watched and evaluated the finalists' videos.
When summing up the results, it turned out that sometimes the jury's ratings and audience sympathy do not match. And for some works, the jury, which included Abdullina Z.A., Nurzhan A.N., Sharip G.S. and Erbolat A.S., the final decision even had to be taken by voting, since the results were equal.
But the vote count was honest and objective. So, several participants entered the top three thanks to the support of their fans! Students, remember, your support is always important!
On May 6, in a live broadcast from the university assembly hall on the @aues_life Instagram page, the results of the contest were announced, and an award ceremony was held. The traditional celebration of 4th year activist students has become a separate part of the event.
At the beginning of the broadcast, university rector Saule Saetovna Sagintayeva, chairman of the “Parasat” city trade union Danat Zhanatayevich Zhanatayev and director of the Department of Youth Policy Zarema Alfredovna Abdullina sent greetings and congratulations to all participants of the contest, activists and spectators.
They thanked the participants of the competition, expressed support for the activities of the trade union committee of students, who managed to organize and conduct such a large event in new and rather difficult conditions, which is the final event of the year in student life. Separate words of gratitude were addressed to the activist children, who worked for the entire student body of the university during all four years of training and contributed to the growth of the AUPET image.
All fourth-year activists, and there were 55 such people, were awarded letters of thanks by the rector of the university for their contribution to the life of the university. The most striking activists were awarded medals by the trade union committee of university students.

Both letters and medals will be awarded to their holders already at the university, after the end of the state of emergency and quarantine.
And finally, the most exciting moment has come - the announcement of the winners and winners of the Aues Spring Awards. Since the organizing committee did not have the opportunity to present prizes on stage, it was decided this time to make them cash. The winner in each nomination received 20,000 tenge, the prize for 2nd place amounted to 15,000 tenge, 3rd place - 10,000 tenge. Prize money will be transferred to the cards of the winners.
