NURLAN SANJAR - CREATIVE PERSONALITY
On June 5, 2020, an online meeting dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde took place. Nurlan Sanzhar is a famous playwright, author of the historical novel “An Unexpected Guest - Jochi”, screenwriter of the film “Oralman”, the main character of the film “My Name is Kozha”, an Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Ph.D., a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan, was a guest of the intellectual club “Parasat”.
The head of the department “Social Sciences”, B. Kabdushev, noted the historical significance of studying materials about “Ulu Ulus - The Great Country” and introduced the guest, noting the versatility of his talent. Director of the Institute “Electrical Engineering and Electrical Techniques” Abdimuratov Zhubanysh Seyaevich; Associate Professor of the Department “International Relations and Law”, Candidate of Political Sciences Kadir Nurgalym; political scientist, candidate of philosophical sciences Amrekulov Nurlan; Head of the Department “Electric Stations and Electric Power Systems” Umbetkulov Yertugan Kozhagulovich; teachers of the department “Language Studies” and “Social disciplines”, students attended the meeting.
Nurlan Sanjar shared his memories, spoke about his creative activities. He wrote several screenplays for famous films. The film “Oralman”, staged according to his script, became the best film in six nominations of the national film award “Tulpar”. The author of the historical novel “An Unexpected Guest - Jochi” Nurlan Sanzhar said that interest in history arose sins his school-days. The novel tells about the laws of the steppe, about violent ethnogenesis, in the millstones of which the courageous people of the Kazakhs were born.
The guest shared his creative plans about the upcoming presentation of his second historical novel “Batu Khan”, about receiving a grant for a draft script for a new film written in collaboration with a Hungarian friend. Many relevant and difficult topics were raised during the conversation.
The meeting participants asked a large number of questions to the guest. Students were interested in his childhood memories of acting. Professor B. Berlibaev and political scientist N. Amrekulov asked questions about historiography, about the life of Genghis Khan. E. Umbetkulova, head of the Department “Electric Stations and Electric Power Systems”, was interested in the issue of making films about young people who went abroad, about providing a wider selection of television programs and films for viewers. The meeting participants were interested in everything: the creative path of N. Sanzhar, and a look at the development of the modern film industry.
N. Sanzhar spoke with a smile about the serious, warmly recalled his teachers, who, as he believes, determined his career. The guest wished the young guys to have a big dream and learn a lot: “We need to meet the times, be competitive. The process of cognition is an ongoing process. ”
Vice-rector for educational work of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev Makhmutov Serik Kapanovich emphasized the importance of the meeting, thanked the guest for the time taken.
The meeting ended with wishes of all health, optimism, happiness and a peaceful sky above your head. The conversation turned out to be interesting and relaxed, for which the audience sincerely thanked the guest and the organizers. We hope that the meeting with the writer, screenwriter will certainly be remembered by the students for a long time, and, of course, the guys will look forward to new interesting meetings in the intellectual club "Parasat".
