On May 29, 2020, the International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “INFLUENCE OF A PANDEMIA ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE” was held in Nur-Sultan. The development and application of electronic textbooks is one of the components for organizing the educational process using distance learning technologies. The possession of digital competencies, the emergence of new IT technologies and information platforms has made it possible to intensify the use of various types of electronic textbooks, which are a convenient way to transfer the necessary information. Working with such educational material will allow students not only to master the material well, but also to properly prepare for passing intermediate and final attestations. The advantage of the electronic textbook also lies in the accessibility, ease of navigation and the speed of navigation through the built-in links.
