The first rector of AUPET was awarded with the jubilee medal "75 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

We congratulate the first rector of the Almaty Power Engineering Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Bolotov Albert Vasilyevich on being awarded with the jubilee medal “75 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. The decree on awarding the anniversary medal was signed by the President of the Russian Federation on June 13, 2019. Colonel, Head of the Department of Defense of Almaty, Amantay Userbaev presented the medal on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.

This year, in connection with the coronavirus pandemic on Victory Day on May 9 in Moscow, only an air parade took place on Red Square. A full-fledged military parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held on June 24, 2020.
