The results of the intellectual festival AUPET FEST have been announced

The best technical university in the country - Almaty University of        Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev - held the intellectual festival “AUPET Fest” in the online format for the first time from June 6 to 20, 2020.

The festival was aimed at students in grades 10-12 of schools, college graduates. Prospective students were able to win 100%, 50%, 25% and 10% discounts for one year of study in the undergraduate program.

The participants passed the following stages of the festival:

- Online registration

- Video essay

- Checking logical thinking

- Testing in a general educational subject

The jury chaired by the rector of AUPET - Sagintayeva S.S. summed up the intellectual festival “AUES FEST”. The results of the festival were announced today at a conference with the participation of Vice-Rector for Academic Activities Konshin S.V., Director of the Department of Youth Policy -Abdullina Z.A., Director of the Department of Youth -Kasenova A.D., Head of the Department of Educational Work -Nurzhan A.N. and chairman of the trade union committee of students, Amirkhan M .:

1st place: 100% discount on studying received - Kaziev Temirlan Kenesovich.

2nd place: 50% discount on studying received - Meirman Әзімәли Серікқалиұлы.

3rd place: 25% discount on  studying received - Orynbasarov Aybar Koshenyly.

All participants with more than 200 points received certificates for a 10% discount on their first year of study.
