Round table on the topic "Staffing of the energy industry in Kazakhstan"
On the 29th of June, 2020 in the framework of the 45th anniversary of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev, Institute of Heat Power Engineering and Thermal Engineering organized a round table on the topic “Staffing of the energy industry in Kazakhstan” with the participation of S. S. Sagintayeva, Rector of Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev” and K. B. Rakhimov, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Saukhimov Almaz Abzhalievich. Doctor of PhD, Vice-Rector of AUPET for Scientific and Innovative Activities; Aliyarov Birlesbek Kanyuly, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor, Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology; Orumbaev Rakhimzhan Kabievich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of AUPET, Honored Power Engineer of the CIS, Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Inventor and Rationalizer of the Kazakh SSR, Inventor of the USSR; faculty, AUPET researchers, government representatives and heads of large enterprises of the country took part in the discussion.
In the online mode, the round table participants discussed pressing issues of staffing in the field of energy development of the country, the main functions of specialized scientific and technical universities in the preparation of scientific personnel for the energy sector.
Vice-Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Rakhimov emphasized the importance of high-quality training of scientific and technical Staff to support state policy in the field of education and development of the energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
