АУЭС расширяет подготовку научных кадров!

In 2020, at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev (AUPET), studying in the educational PhD program "Automation and Control" has begun.

The educational PhD program "Automation and Control", developed at AUPET, has passed the examination, received approval and is included in the register of educational programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that in 2020, 22 grants were allocated for PhD program in the specialty "Automation and Control" throughout the republic. AUPET received nearly the third part of them - 6 grants.

The educational PhD program was developed by the Department “Automation and Control” of “The Institute of Control Systems and Information Technologies” - one of the structural divisions of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev.

The disciplines "Expert systems and methods of artificial intelligence", "MES- and ERP-systems for managing production and business processes", "Academic writing" and "Methods of scientific research" are included in the university component. The optional component is represented by the following subjects: "Mathematical tools of control systems" and "Mathematical models and methods for studying dynamic processes"; "Big Data Processing and Analytics" and "Big Data Processing, Management and Storage".

Lecturers and supervisors of PhD students will be both domestic and foreign specialists who are recognized authorities in the field of automation and control.

We remind you that the acceptance of documents for admission to PhD program has been extended until August 10.
