AUPET has announced about discounts
The main goals of providing grants and discounts are social support and stimulation the students of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev to quality education.
TYPES OF DISCOUNTS
To all students of the University and new entrants, regardless of the form of study:

Grant for applicants-graduates of secondary schools / colleges who scored from 131 to 140 points on the Unified National Testing:

At the same time, each grant holder during his studies must meet the minimum established requirements for academic performance and social activity: a. The grant is renewed every semester, provided that the student meets the minimum academic requirements and participates in the active life of the University. If academic performance falls below the established level or the student refuses to participate in the active life of the University, then during the next semester the student pays 100% of the cost of one semester of study until his academic performance and social activities reach the required level. Grant for applicants-graduates of Non – profit JSC "Republican Physics and Mathematics School named after O. Zhautykov", Specialized boarding school "Bilim-Innovation" in Almaty, Open Joint Stock Company "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" who scored at least 125 points on the Unified National Test:

Note - if an undergraduate applicant applies for several types of discounts, then in this case the discounts are not summed up. The one largest discount is preferred.
