Quarantine will be relaxed in Kazakhstan

A number of facilities will open from 31 August.

“The Interdepartmental Commission approved the second stage of easing quarantine restrictions,” reports zakon.kz.

At a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, the second stage of concessions for the activities of facilities was approved.

The Ministry of Health reported that restrictive measures have reduced the incidence of COVID-19 in the country by 10 times, the number of ambulance calls by 4.2 times, the occupancy of beds by 80%, while the number of mobile teams has been increased by 7.6 times.

Taking into account the achieved positive effect, the Interdepartmental Commission decided to resume its activities from August 31:

- religious sites (individually, without holding collective events);

- swimming pools (in an individual format, at the rate of 5 square meters of water surface per 1 visitor, preliminary registration);

- gyms (up to 5 square meters for 1 visitor, pre-registration);

- sports complexes (for individual and group training up to 5 square meters per visitor);

- cultural objects (up to 5 square meters per 1 visitor; occupancy rate of no more than 50%, including collective rehearsals for up to 30 people, observing social distancing of at least 2 meters; airing the premises during breaks; use of masks);

- specially protected natural areas: state national natural parks, reserves, reserves and others (for individual and organized groups of no more than 15 people, subject to social distancing of at least 2 meters, wearing masks);

- movement of suburban passenger trains / electric trains, intercity intraregional coaches / minibuses.

“All objects will be commissioned only after receiving the appropriate certificates of readiness. Akimats of regions together with the Ministry of Health, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" and the public are obliged to ensure the strictest observance of all sanitary requirements by the facilities being commissioned, ” - Tugzhagov noted.

Following the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister gave a number of other specific instructions.

On August 13, the State Commission decided to ease quarantine in the country from August 17. Shopping centers, shopping malls, non-food markets, duty teams in preschool organizations, beauty salons, fitness centers and a number of other facilities have resumed their work. But the quarantine was only eased on weekdays. The previous restrictions were in effect on the weekend.
