Guarantee of stability and well-being

Today, on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a round table meeting on the topic: "The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the guarantor of stability and well-being of Kazakhstani society", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been held online. The organizers of the event are the Department of Social Disciplines of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev.

Well-known Kazakhstani lawyers, jurists, specialists in constitutional law, political scientists and philosophers, students of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev took part in the event. Rector of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev Saule Sagintayeva opened the round table meeting. She noted that the Constitution is the foundation of the entire pyramid of government. Peace and Accord are the values ​​for the sake of which this political and legal innovation was first introduced in the 18th century. The Basic Law defines the basic principles of state structure, protects the rights and freedoms of citizens. Strengthening the friendship of the multinational people of our country and ensuring public harmony, the Constitution is a solid foundation of our independence, the guarantor of successful development and high international prestige of Kazakhstan.

The rector noted the great importance of the forum and wished the participants interesting and constructive discussions. Vice-rector for educational work of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev Serik Kapanovich Makhmutov said that political, economic and social stability, free spiritual development of our society are largely ensured by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. When adopting the Constitution, citizens consciously and purposefully make a choice: what the state, the economy should be, what is the priority. The Basic Law determines the present and future of the country for generations to come. During the event, the participants considered such important aspects of constitutional construction as: constitution and stability of society; the constitution as a guarantor of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens from threats and factors in the field of public security; the constitution as the basis for the development of the political process in the Republic of Kazakhstan and as a legal basis for the integration of Kazakhstani society. The participants focused on the humanistic essence of the Constitution, analyzed gender policy in the rule of law. At the end of the event, during a constructive discussion, the participants of the round table exchanged views and summed up the results.
