25th anniversary of Constitution Day is being celebrated in Kazakhstan
August 30 is a public holiday - Constitution Day. It will be celebrated in Kazakhstan. The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted at a popular referendum on August 30, 1995, with subsequent amendments and additions from 1998 and 2007.
This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the country's Basic Law. It defines the basic principles of state structure, protects the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Over these 25 years, the Constitution of Kazakhstan has absorbed the best world experience, historical and national traditions; ensures public consent; serves as a solid foundation of independence, a guarantor of successful development and high international prestige of Kazakhstan.
