Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "For Merits in the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the honorary badge "Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the medal "K 100 anniversary of the railways of the Republic of Kazakhstan ", medals for the 85th anniversary of the Kazak Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpayev, academician of the international academy of transport, honorary professor of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov.

Raushan Kulmagambetovna is one of the first graduates of the full-time postgraduate study at the Almaty Power Engineering Institute (APEI). She began her career at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR in the Department for the Integrated Development of Mineral and Raw Materials and Fuel and Energy Resources.

After successfully defending her Ph.D. thesis on "Efficiency of Coals and Coal Wastes", she was appointed Head of the Postgraduate School of the Institute of Economics. Then she went through a competition for teaching at the Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy at the Department of Economics of Environmental Management for the position of associate professor.

In 1997, after defending her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Improving the efficiency of the integrated use of fuel and energy resources (based on the materials of the coal industry of Kazakhstan)", she was invited to work in the Central Office of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Main Department of State Order, which made the transition to a new model of student contingent formation.

She is the author of over 150 publications. She has trained 7 doctors and more than 50 candidates of economic sciences. The holistic scientific school of transport engineers in Kazakhstan was formed with her active assistance.

On the eve of the glorious 70th anniversary, we would like to celebrate Raushan Kulmagambetovna's high intelligence, sparkling energy, sensitivity and kindness! With her arrival, the scientific work of the department revived, international scientific conferences were held. With her active assistance, the University was one of the first to organize a discussion of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is happy to work with students, is full of ideas, and is ready to actively implement them. She infects those around her with positive, creativity! We wish her further the same fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity within the walls of her Alma Mater, good health and prosperity to her loved ones!
